Latin American Festival Football3
Organized by IFA in partnership with streetfootballworld, the Latin American Festival Football3 brought to Salvador, in December 2013, about 170 young people from 6 countries and 5 states.
Media Tour FIFA
In December 2013, during the drawing for the 2014 World Cup, IFA was visited by FIFA’s Media Tour, which brought to Salvador journalists of the leading agencies in the world news.
Held in December 2013, the Araci Festival brought together about 120 adolescents and 10 educators from four municipalities of Bahia’s semi-arid region.
About 120 boys and girls in the municipalities of Santa Luz, Conceição do Coité, Valente, Teofilândia, Araci and Barrocas participated in the Festival, which took place in June 2014.
Held in June 2014 through a partnership with the German Technical Cooperation (GIZ) and the Municipality of Salvador, the Ball Festival brought together about 150 young and had the presence of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
IStarted in June 2012, the FAES Project aims to develop Educational Sports by the Sport3 methodology, in the state of Bahia.
The Pébola is a project that serves about 120 young Itapuã neighborhood youngsters through IFA’s partnership with the City of Salvador and the Football for Hope / FIFA.
Sport and Citizenship Project
Closed in 2014 to make way for PéBola Project, Project Sport and Citizenship met for five years about 250 young people from Castelo Branco district of Salvador.
Football for Hope / FIFA
The FIFA Football for Hope program supports social development in Brazil through partner institutions working in communities with low HDI. Using IFA and Eprocad Foundation as the centerpiece, this video shows some of the reality faced by adolescents at risk and shows how football can be used to promote important values in the formation of these young people.
The World Cup Project
Filmed on the eve of the FIFA World Cup in 2014, the documentary The World Cup Project – Brazil draws a parallel between the challenges facing the country after the 2013 protests, the legacy of the World and social change promoted by football. Produced by Collaborate: ideas & images, this episode, which is part of a project involving 11 countries, used IFA as a reference.
Latin American Festival Futebol3
During six days Salvador was the world capital of football for development. Taking advantage of the visibility of the draw for the FIFA 2014 World Cup, held in Costa do Sauipe, the Festival served to promote Football3 Methodology internationally. Marked by cultural exchange between young people from the 6 countries participating in the festival, the video brings us some of the moments of relaxation, the dreams of these boys and girls and of course, the football3 methodology.
